Bank analysts believe that in order to increase gold prices to the level of $ 2,000 per ounce, inflation in the US should rise to 2% or more. The Federal Reserve set a goal to achieve this indicator, and also committed to keep interest rates at a record low. Moreover, the bank raised its forecast for the next 3 and 6 months to $ 1800 and $ 1900 per ounce, respectively. The previous forecast for gold for these periods was at $ 1,600 and $ 1,650 per ounce.
