The fact is that Swiss refineries process almost half of the world's gold. Last month, Switzerland exported 109.47 tons of gold to other countries in the amount of 5.27 billion francs (4.789 billion euros).
For the past three months in a row, the UK has become the largest recipient of precious metals from the Alpine Republic. In September, it imported almost 74 tons from Switzerland. In all, at the beginning of this year, 325 tons of gold were imported into the country. ETF funds whose shares are backed by physical precious metals. According to the World Gold Council, investments in ETFs have risen to record highs. Now 2,807.8 tons of gold are stored in their reserves to cover shares with physical precious metals. Since the beginning of 2019, the net inflow of gold to ETF funds has amounted to 368 tons.

Given the large volumes of gold supplies to London, the question arises: where to get it? Dubai It is from this gold that the processors will go. Since the beginning of this year, 127 tons of yellow precious metal have been imported. It turns out that this is the third month in a row.
As for, in September 2019, 189.33 tons of gold worth 5.96 billion francs (5.4 billion euros) were imported into the reservation, which is -13% less than last year and -11% less august. Argentina (24 t), Peru (11 t) and Dominican Republic (11 t) became suppliers of the unprocessed low-quality precious metal.
