On the COMEX, a division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures for June delivery traded at $1.00 a troy ounce, up 0.16% as of this writing.
The maximum of the session was the mark of dollars per troy ounce. At the time of writing, gold has found support at $1,785.00 and resistance at $1,848.20.
Futures on the USD index, which shows the ratio of the US dollar to a basket of six major currencies, fell 0.06% to trade at $102.81.
